Senior Energy Treasury Analyst

The Senior Energy Treasury Analyst will manage our day-to-day liquidity, working capital pools, and commercial banking relationships. A major focus of this role will be the execution of hedging policies (crude oil and natural gas swaps/options) to defend cash flows during market volatility, as well as tracking capital disbursements for active drilling packages.
Core Responsibilities
- Build and maintain deterministic financial models tracking monthly capital expenditure (CapEx) and operational cash flows.
- Execute commodity derivative swaps and call/put option strategies to hedge market exposure.
- Prepare monthly treasury reports summarizing debt drawdowns, cash yields, and credit facility utilization.
- Audit investment returns on active carbon offset portfolios and biological aviation fuel joint ventures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Mathematics, or Quantitative Economics.
- 5+ years in an energy corporate treasury or commodity trading desk environment.
- Proficiency with treasury management software and high-level Excel quantitative modeling.
- Strong knowledge of upstream oil and gas fiscal terms, leasing cycles, and royalty payments.
