The Division Order Analyst is the guardian of our ownership records. You will establish and maintain division of interest (DOI) decks for new wells, process ownership transfers arising from conveyances, probate, and trusts, and work directly with Landowner Relations to resolve payment inquiries. Accuracy in this role determines whether thousands of families receive their royalty checks correctly and on time.

Core Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain division of interest decks for new drills, acquisitions, and unit revisions.
  • Examine deeds, assignments, probate documents, and trust instruments to process ownership transfers.
  • Prepare and issue division orders and transfer orders to new owners.
  • Research and release suspended funds, and reconcile suspense balances monthly.
  • Partner with Landowner Relations to resolve owner inquiries within the published 10-business-day standard.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience in petroleum land management.
  • 3+ years of division order experience with an upstream operator.
  • Working knowledge of Texas, New Mexico, and Louisiana conveyancing and intestate succession rules.
  • Experience with land systems such as Quorum Land, Enertia, or P2 BOLO.
  • CDOA certification (NADOA) is a strong plus.
